Come for the landscapes as much as the wildlife. Namibia is dramatically different from a traditional safari — enormous desert scenery, towering dunes, rugged coastlines and some extraordinary desert-adapted wildlife.

WHEN TO GO

Generally a year-round destination, although May–October brings cooler, drier conditions ideal for exploring. Summer can be extremely hot but also brings dramatic skies and greener landscapes.
